My creative journey

In addition to my sustainability design project, I gained hands-on experience with the University of Pittsburgh FSAE team. I contributed to the ergonomics and brakes sub-teams, helping design and build components for the team’s competition vehicle. This role gave me exposure to real-world engineering constraints, collaboration, and the iterative design process used in motorsports engineering.

 My Projects

My portfolio showcases a range of specialized projects, each tailored to specific creative needs. My approach is focused on understanding and responding to requirements, providing effective and practical solutions.

About Zeynab Abzarova

I am an engineering student at the University of Pittsburgh with experience in design, prototyping, and team-based engineering projects. My work focuses on solving real-world problems through both sustainability-driven design and hands-on mechanical engineering.

This semester, I developed a rainwater reuse system featuring an underground cistern design to advance campus sustainability, working through research, prototyping, and iterative design improvements. I also contributed to the University of Pittsburgh FSAE team, working on the ergonomics and brakes sub-teams during the design and build of a competition off-road vehicle.

Through these experiences, I have developed a strong foundation in engineering design, collaboration, and problem-solving under real constraints.
